My Story

My path to this work is both professional and deeply personal. Like many of the individuals I serve, I have experienced seasons of depression, anxiety, trauma, uncertainty, and overwhelming life circumstances. I know what it feels like to struggle. I know what it feels like to wonder if things will ever improve. I know what it feels like to be searching for answers while trying to simply make it through the day.

While everyone's story is unique, my own experiences have given me a profound appreciation for the strength it takes to keep moving forward when life feels heavy.

My goal is simple:

To provide thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care while treating every patient with dignity, compassion, and respect.

When life feels overwhelming, my hope is to help you find clarity, stability, and a path forward—one step at a time.

Why Guided Transitions Exists

After years of working within traditional mental health systems, I saw how difficult it could be for people to access timely psychiatric care when they needed it most. Guided Transitions was created to bridge that gap by providing focused, on-demand support during life's most challenging transitions.

Business Meeting Discussion

Guided Transitions was intentionally designed as a focused psychiatric urgent care service. As the practice grows, my hope is to expand access by offering additional services while maintaining the thoughtful, patient-centered approach that is at the heart of this work.

Looking Ahead

Mental health care should be compassionate and accessible.

Treatment decisions should be thoughtful, not rushed.

Difficult transitions can become opportunities for growth and restoration.

People are more than their diagnosis.

Patients deserve honesty, respect, and clear guidance.

Healing is often a journey, not a single moment.

A Foundation of Faith

I can honestly say that I would not be where I am today without my faith in Jesus Christ. There were seasons in my life when hope felt distant. During those difficult times, my faith became an anchor that carried me forward when I could not see the path ahead. Through Gods faithfulness, healing, guidance, and grace, I learned that our hardest seasons do not have to define the rest of our lives. Those experiences helped shape both my life and my approach to patient care.

Everyone is Welcome

My faith influences the values that guide this work: compassion, integrity, humility, service, respect, and genuine care for every person I encounter. Whether you share my faith, practice a different faith, or have no faith background at all, you are welcome here.

If You're Here, You Don't Have To Have Everything Figured Out

Whether you're facing a new challenge, struggling with symptoms that feel overwhelming, or simply searching for guidance, you do not have to navigate this season alone. My hope is that Guided Transitions can provide a safe place to pause, gain clarity, and take the next step forward.
